Micah's 6th Bday

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to my favorite 3rd born!!! Micah, I love you so much!!!

Micah asked for hashbrowns and eggs for breakfast so he's holding fast to Hostetler/Burgess favorites!! :o) hee hee

We had spaghetti, biscuits, and salad for dinner. It was all good. We had to take a break and do dishes, open gifts, and clean up the living room before we had room for dessert too! ha ha.

But before you see those pics, here are a pic from Micah's class room. I took in cupcakes for his class today at 3 pm. We sugared kids up and then sent them on their merry way! Perfect!! :)

When it's your Bday in Mrs. Paganelli's class she makes you a special hat. Here's Micah with his. :)

As a fan of Lego Star Wars, Micah loved this shirt!

Here, I think he's trying to decide if he's impressed with the cake mix or not. We convinced him to open the top of the box where he realized there as a movie inside! ha ha ha. TOO funny. He was laughing so it was cute.

Opening his gift from Gma and Gpa Burgess. He's already gotten his pillowcase ON his pillow. We'll go get his new pillow tomorrow! He really like the lizard too.

Ice Cream Cake!!!!

Micah and his cake.

All the nummy layers! Oreo, chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, more oreos, and more icecream. MMMM...... And there's half of it left... so looks like Eric gets leftovers for his birthday on Saturday :o) WIN WIN, dontcha think?? :o)

Self Portrait

I got bored so was messing around with some lighting and took a few pictures of myself. LOL

This one ended up kinda artistic. I keep wondering how/if I could use photography as a side business. I really like the way my eyes pop in this picture ... and Eric likes it too... hee hee

Happy Valentines Day

Well, Happy Valentines Day everyone!

This mornings started out with Eric bringing me starbucks at 6:30 am. Now that's how to wake up! woohoo!!

I made the family pink scrambled eggs and toast. The eggs threw Josiah off for a few minutes but when he saw everyone else happily eating them he tried them and then went on to take 3 more helpings. Ha ha ha! Tonight will be spaghetti and heart shaped bisquits :)

I sent Eric a text message today that said, "Roses r red, Violets r blue, after 13 years I still like kissing you." hee hee

And I took him a coffee to school (also known as a latte) and gave him a red heart that said, "I like you a latte. Will you be my valentine?"

I also printed out some words (from a cool website). I printed them on photo paper so they are glossy and look nice. Then I put magnet tape on the back and now we have a whole bunch of words we can write little phrases with. Fun, cheap, and cute.

I then wrote him a song. Complete with piano playing and lyrics. Not sure I'll ever have the guts to post it on here but I think he's going to like it. It's my first EVER completed song with lyrics, words, and recording (iPod).

I'm ever so grateful this year for my man and God for continuing to be faithful to us. Valentines Day at our house in the past wasn't always a wonderful day - mostly b/c we feel differently about the "holiday".... but this year I'm mostly thankful that I get to love my man everyday of the year - and I'm just having a little extra fun with a few extra things to show him how much I care. And I know he's doing the same for me.

Have a love and heart filled day my friends and family!! Love you all!

This morning in my devotions I was reminded that God gave the ultimate valentine when he gave his son to us. Always a good reminder.
